Frequently asked questions

Yes! All of our products are vegan friendly and gluten free.

Yes! Autumn Sons cookies turn out best when you start with a drier dough. Overly wet or sticky dough results in cookies that spread quite a bit and are more likely to be crunchy or firm.

Yes! If you're making the Chocolate Chunk, Double Chocolate Chunk or Oatmeal Cinnamon cookies, this just means your cookies will spread more and are likely to be on the flatter side. The good news is, they will still taste great!  If you are making cut out sugar cookies and have added too much water to the dough making it overly sticky, you can try to fix the dough by kneading in a few pinches of flour to help absorb some of the moisture. Use gluten free flour, if needed. Alternatively, you can opt for drop sugar cookies instead of cut out sugar cookies in this case. Simply create twelve dough balls and lightly flatten them before baking. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

The cookies are done when the surfaces of the cookies are matte rather than shiny. Be sure to take the cookies out of the oven before the edges turn brown. It's better to underbake than over bake with Autumn Sons cookie mixes.

Once completely cooled, place your cookies in an airtight container or large resealable bag. Leave the cookies there to rest for a few hours or overnight. The moisture from the cookies will work wonders, and the next day, your cookies should be soft!
