White Chocolate Dipped Chocolate Chunk Cookies

White Chocolate Dipped Chocolate Chunk Cookies

How do you make chocolate chunk cookies even more luxuriously scrumptious? Simple: by dipping them in melted white chocolate, of course! This recipe provides the oh-so simple instructions on how to do it.

Makes 12 Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 Autumn Sons Baking Co. Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 3 Tbsp. neutral-flavored oil
  • 1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. water
  • 1 c. + 2 Tbsp. (about 190 g) dairy-free white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate bar or coins
  • Coarse decorating sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F / 177°C.

  2. Using the cookie mix, oil and water, prepare the cookies according to the package directions.

  3. Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet.

  4. Once cooled, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler on the stove, or in 20-second intervals in a bowl in the microwave, stirring in between until smooth. Be careful not to overheat.

  5. Dip one half of each cookie in the melted white chocolate and then return them to the baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle the parts of the cookies covered in chocolate with decorating sugar, if using.

  6. Allow the white chocolate to hardened at room temperature, 1-2 hours. For a faster method, place the baking sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes.
