Sugar Drop Cookies

Makes 12 cookies


  •  1 Autumn Sons Sugar Cookie Mix
  •  1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
  •  3 Tbsp. Oil
  •  2 Tbsp. Water
  •  2 Tbsp. Sugar for rolling (optional)


  1.  Preheat your oven to 350 F / 177 C.
  2. Add the sugar cookie mix and baking soda to a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Add oil and water to the bowl and stir well until all liquid is absorbed. Knead the dough a few times by hand. Drier dough is best, but if its too dry to form dough balls, add water 1/2 tsp at a time just until the dough comes together.
  4. Drop 12 rounded tablespoon-sized dough balls onto nonstick or parchment-lined baking sheet. Roll each ball in sugar, if desired. Flatten each ball to about 1/2-inch thick.
  5. Bake just until cookies are set and remove them from the oven before edges turn brown, about 6-8 minutes. Its better to underbake than overbake. Cool for at least 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
